Hello, my name is Dawn and I live in the leafy suburbs of South East London. I started this blog after quitting my job in corporate communications and change management as a way to create my portfolio career, reinvent my future and learn many new things along the way.
Artisan Makers shows my journey into the world of makers and creators of beautiful things; people I have met and admire for their single-minded passion; people who are obsessive about detail as they are about the authenticity of their craft.
I am no expert in art or design, so I approach each maker with the wonder, respect and curiosity of a learner.
